EDC

SZABIST Executive Development Center (EDC) serves as a liaison between job-seeking SZABIST graduates and organizations, through relationship building and networking with the most coveted companies in Pakistan. It facilitates students in the completion of their degree requirements, personal development, and job placements. It also engages with the alumni at multiple levels , for relationship building, and mentoring.

Services to Students:

• Mock Interviews to provide feedback on student interview skills
• Guidance for resume building
• Corporate Finesse Workshops to build soft and technical skills in graduating students
• Provide opportunities for internships and placements during studies and after graduation through recruitment drives, career fair, placement boards and graduate directory

Facilitation for Placement Partners:

• Posting of resource requirements on various platforms (online and offline)
• Sifting of resumes to ensure candidates meet partner’s criteria
• Assistance in recruitment drives
• Support for on-campus interviews
• Organizing written and computer based assessments
• Provision of Graduate Directory
• Facilitation for Annual Career Fair
• Providing networking opportunity through Corporate Networking Meetup
• To improve Industry-academia linkages through Corporate Advisory Board

Alumni Relations:

• SZABIST Alumni Global Association (SAGA) has been established to create and strengthens the ties between alumni and institute
• Reconnect with alumni through Alumni engagement programs
• Participate in Alumni ambassador shows broadcasted at ZAB FM 106.60
• Publish testimonials to share positive experiences of alum, at SZABIST
• Organizing written and computer based assessments
• Avail discounts and facilities through SAGA cards
• Back-to-SZABIST through alumni meetups, guest speakers and mentoring sessions
