The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK accredits SZABIST. Now SZABIST students and alumni can avail exemptions as follows:
– BBA, BS (Accounting & Finance), BA (Hons) Business Studies, BS (Entrepreneurship), EMBA, and MBA (non-finance electives) students and alumni will be exempt from all 13 courses and will only attempt three case studies.
– MBA students with finance electives and BS (Accounting & Finance) alumni will be exempt from all 13 courses and operational-level case studies and will only attempt two case studies.
BS (Accounting & Finance) program has been accredited with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) as Relevant Degree Awarding Institute (RDAI), and BS (A &F) graduates will now be able to claim 9 exemptions in CA Pakistan qualification and will be completing Chartered Accountancy Certification on a fast-track basis.
SZABIST has been accredited with ACCA-UK till December 31, 2024.
BBA graduates will get exemption of 6 papers (F1, F2, F3, F5, F7 and F9) in ACCA-UK qualification. BS (Accounting & Finance) graduates will get exemption of 9 papers (F1 to F9) in ACCA-UK qualification.
Normally, accreditations and exemptions are sought by, and granted to, Accounting and Finance programs. However, we ensure our curriculum matches international and professional standards, and are given 6 exemptions for our BBA program, for all 5 campuses for 5 years.

After completing two years at SZABIST, Karachi, the student can apply for the Final Year to the Coventry University, UK for their Bachelor’s Degree OR continue with the Internal BABS program and earn a HEC recognized degree.
