Nasreen Haque is the Vice President Development and Finance at SZABIST University. She has worked in multidimensional organizations in government and in education. A gazetted officer of the Civil Services of Pakistan, she retired as a Federal Secretary from the Government of Pakistan in 2012. Her last posting in government was as Principal Secretary to the President of Pakistan. Prior to which she held positions of Chairperson Karachi Port Trust, Managing Director Karachi Urban Transport Corporation, Chief Operating Superintendent Pakistan Railways, Chief Commercial Manager Pakistan Railways, Director General Export Promotion Bureau, and Secretary Board of Trustees Port Qasim Authority.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, holds a Master’s Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies, Degree in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Transport and Logistics. She has been trained at prestigious national and international institutes such as Civil Services Academy, National Institute of Public Administration, National Defence University, John F. Kennedy School of Government Harvard University Boston, Canadian Pacific Railways and British Railways. After her retirement from government service she joined SZABIST University as Vice President.
