Mr. Imtiaz Kazi is currently the Vice President Administration looking after the administrative and human resource matters of SZABIST University. He did his Masters in Political Science in 1975 and taught International Affairs in Sindh University before joining Pakistan Administrative Service in 1978. He also has Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from the American University, Washington, D.C. Mr. Kazi has held various field and secretariat positions. Starting his career as assistant commissioner, he went on to serve as deputy commissioner, commissioner, secretary to the provincial government, Chief Secretary, Gilgit – Baltistan culminating his career as federal secretary to the important federal government ministries including Petroleum & Natural Resources and Water and Power. During the period of his service, he served in Sindh, Baluchistan, Gilgit – Baltistan and Islamabad and also in the Pakistan Embassy, Washington D.C. After his retirement, he was posted as Member, Federal Public Service Commission.
