Guest Speaker Session on Physiology of Blood Disorders

On 23rd December 2024, Dr. Uroosa Ejaz organized an insightful guest speaker session for BS Biosciences students at SZABIST Karachi. The session featured Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Usman, a PhD candidate specializing in Physiology and a Visiting Faculty member at the University of Karachi.

Mr. Usman delivered an engaging and comprehensive talk on the physiology of blood disorders, highlighting intricate mechanisms underlying conditions such as thalassemia, thrombocytopenia, and hemophilia. The session provided students with an excellent opportunity to deepen their understanding of hematological disorders and their physiological aspects.
