On 12th December 2024, the Department of Public Health hosted an enlightening session on “Phenomenology of Disability, Death, and the Role of Medical Schools for Medical Anthropology Course.“ The distinguished Dr. Farhat Sheikh, a Project Consultant at Aga Khan University Hospital, led the session. With a PhD in Geography from Karachi University and an MSc in Anthropology from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Dr. Sheikh brought a multidisciplinary perspective to the discussion, providing profound insights into the socio-cultural and psychological dimensions of disability and death.
