On 18th August 2023, Public Health Department of SZABIST University in collaboration with UNFPA successfully organized a round table consultative dialogue on “Barriers to Access Family Planning Services”
The session involved experts from academia, development sector, INGOs, and public/private sector. The representatives gave innovative insights on the recent hurdles in accessing family planning services and exchanged ideas on the role academia can play in bridging the existing gaps and facilitating young minds. The event ended with fresh proposals on the table to be implemented through academia in combating the pressing issue of family planning in Pakistan.
