Brief Bio and Research Interest / Area of Research:

Brief Bio: I am Saiqa Tabassum, born in Karachi on 27th March 1989 and raised in Karachi. I have done PhD in Biochemistry with specialization in Neurochemistry, Biochemical Neuropharmacology and Clinical Biochemistry at Department of Biochemistry, University of Karachi. Additionally, I have also done diplomas in Education, Leadership and Management and Project Management from Pakistan Institute of Management. Professionally, I have Almost 7-year teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate level in multiple sectors; degree college, medical college and University and at Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry I have received 3 best teacher awards from 2014-16. Along with teaching, I have 10 years of research experience with 49 research publications and 1 MS thesis. Further, I am also listed as HEC approved PhD Supervisor and Productive Scientist of Pakistan in PCST list and have scientific profile of Impact Factor 65.902(Cumulative), 1.938 (Average) and h-index=12. Moreover, I am currently supervising 3 PhD and 3 MS Students in the field of Neurochemistry, Biochemical Neuropharmacology and Clinical Biochemistry.
