Guest Speaker Session on “From Data to Discovery: Unraveling Genomic Mysteries with Next Generation Sequencing”

A guest speaker session was organized by Dr. Uroosa Ejaz for BS Biotechnology students on 2nd May, 2024. Dr. Hassan Ghayas delivered a lecture on a topic entitled as “FROM DATA TO DISCOVERY: UNRAVELING GENOMIC MYSTERIES WITH NEXT GENERATION SEQUENCING”. He is a Post Doc Research Fellow at AKUH and did PhD from Dalian Medical University, China. He discussed how vast amounts of genomic data can be analyzed to uncover insights into genetic variations, diseases, evolutionary relationships, and much more.
