External Donor-Funded Scholarships & Loan Facilities

  1. Sindh Education Endowment Fund (SEEF) Scholarship

Purpose: Provide equitable access to higher education for low-income Sindh residents.
Eligibility:

  1. Domicile and permanent residence certificate of Sindh.
  2. Minimum GPA 2.5 or 60 % in intermediate.
  3. Annual family income up to PKR 6,000,000.
  4. Enrolled in SEEF Trust-approved disciplines for the specified academic year.

2. Chief Minister SZABIST Merit & Need-Based Scholarship Program

Purpose: Empower undergraduate students under the Chief Minister Sindh’s youth initiative.
Eligibility:

  1. Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Except for LLB).
  2. Monthly family income up to PKR 125,000.
  3. CGPA > 3.0.

3. Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) Scholarship (Regular/Partial Scheme)

Purpose: Empower talented students from Balochistan.
Eligibility:

  1. Minimum CGPA 3.0
  2. Valid domicile or local-certificate of Balochistan
  3. Not currently in receipt of any other scholarship
  4. All degree programs are eligible, with the exception of LLB and PhD

4. Higher Education Opportunities for Balochistan & FATA

Purpose: Bridge educational disparities for students from Balochistan and FATA.
Eligibility:

  1. Local domicile from Balochistan or FATA.
  2. Completed 16 years of education with ≥ 60 % marks.
  3. Age up to 35 at closing date; no concurrent HEC scholarships.

5. Orange Tree Foundation Scholarship

Purpose: Support high-achieving students with demonstrated financial need.
Eligibility:

  1. Minimum CGPA 2.85 or 70 % marks. Documented family financial circumstances.

6. HEC Indigenous PhD Fellowship Program

Purpose: Promote research excellence through industry-academia partnerships.
Eligibility:

  1. Pakistani or AJK national with no third-division grades.
  2. Direct PhD: CGPA ≥ 3.0 (4.0 scale) or 3.75 (5.0 scale) or first division in MS/MPhil.
  3. Age up to 40 for faculty/R&D; up to 35 for others.
  4. Not currently receiving another HEC scholarship.

7. Sindh HEC Indigenous Scholarship

Purpose: Support full-time MS and PhD researchers.
Eligibility:

  1. Full-time research enrollment with GAT clearance.
  2. Minimum CGPA 3.0 in the last examination.
  3. No concurrent scholarships, employment, certificate courses, or transfer status.

8. Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarship

Purpose: Support talented and deserving students in the fields of Arts, Design, and Culture by easing their financial burden and promoting the cultural heritage of Pakistan.
Eligibility:

  1. Pakistani nationals enrolled in an undergraduate program in a PEEF-approved discipline for the specified academic year.
  2. Must demonstrate financial need as assessed through supporting documents.
  3. Not receiving any other educational scholarship during the current academic year.

Loan Facilities

  1. Ihsan Trust Qarz-e-Hasna (Interest-Free Loan) Facility

Purpose: Offer interest-free, merit- and need-based loans to bridge financial gaps.
Eligibility:

  1. Registered in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (excluding Media Science).
  2. Minimum CGPA 2.5.

Purpose: Provide a flexible loan solution that defers tuition payments so students can focus on their studies.
Eligibility:

  1. Admission offer or current enrollment at SZABIST University.
  2. Meets SZABIST’s academic and admission requirements.
  3. Commitment to a repayment plan.

3. TCF Financial Assistance

Purpose: Enable TCF alumni to pursue undergraduate and professional degrees.
Eligibility:

  1. Enrolled in any undergraduate program.
