Guest speaker session on the topic “Economic Assessment of Bioprocesses in Food Production: A Path to Enhanced Efficiency and Quality” on 26th April, 2024 was organized by Dr. Uroosa Ejaz for BS Biotechnology students. Mr. Salman Haider is a PhD scholar and serves as a faculty member of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology. His past experience is from Hilal Foods. He explained in-depth financial implications of employing biotechnological methods within the food industry. Students learned about the economic viability and broader advantages of integrating biotechnological approaches into food production systems.
