Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) 4-Year Degree

Program Description:

The B.Ed (4-Year) program is a comprehensive professional degree designed to prepare high-quality teachers for various levels of schooling. This program enables students to become licensed, future-ready educators aligned with the evolving demands of both public and private school systems. It integrates general education, professional pedagogy, and practical classroom experience to ensure graduates are equipped with 21st-century teaching competencies.

Program Mission

The mission of the B.Ed program is to develop intellectually curious, professionally competent, and ethically sound educators. By bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, the program aims to produce teachers who can lead diverse classrooms, innovate in curriculum delivery, and contribute to the sustainable development of the education sector in Pakistan.
Program Structure

To obtain degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) 4 years, students are required to complete a total of 145 credit hours within 6 years. The degree consists of a total of 51 courses, including 2 teaching practicum courses  one classroom observation, one internship, and one Research Project. Three specializations are being offered in this program such as Educational Leadership and Management, Early Childhood Care and Education; Artificial Intelligence in education.

Admission Requirements

For admission in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)  4 years  program, the candidate must have completed O-Levels (minimum 8 subjects including 5 compulsory subjects; English, Urdu, Maths, Islamiat & Pakistan Studies) and A-levels (minimum 3 Subjects)/12th Grade/Intermediate with minimum 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized institution. Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) equivalency/attestation is required for O & A Levels/IB Diploma/High School Diploma/SSC & HSC or equivalent.
