The 3rd meeting of the Industrial Advisory Committee (IAC) for both BSCS and BSAI took place on 5th October, 2023. Dr. Imran Amin, Dean(C&ES), chaired the meeting. We had the honor of hosting two industry experts as guests: Mr. S. Shomail A. Naqvi, Managing Director & CEO of THK Associates PVT Limited, and Mr. Mustafa Hassan Ali, Software Developer at 10 Pearls. Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain Rizvi (HoD Robotics & AI), Mr. Muhammad Shahzad Haroon (Program Manager, BSCS 3rd & 4th Year), Ms. Faria Jameel (Program Manager, BSCS 1st & 2nd Year), Dr. Muhammad Raza, Mr. Asif Khalid Qureshi (Program Manager, BSSE) also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Shahzad Haroon addressed the need for additional labs to accommodate our growing number of students. Dr. Syed Sajjad provided a detailed discussion on the adoption of the new curriculum recommended by NCEAC, offering a comparison between the new and previous curricula.
