SZABIST Hold its "3rd International Research Conference"
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) has been organizing its bi-annual Research Conferences since 2002. Considering the increased number of International Research papers SZABIST decided to conduct its 1st SIRC in 2011.
Building upon successful experience of organizing conferences for the last 11 years, SZABIST organized its 3rd multidisciplinary International Research Conference (SIRC) on Management, Social Sciences, Computing, and Economics on December 14, 2013 at SZABIST Karachi. The objective of this conference is to bring together researchers from academia and industry as well as practitioners in their respective fields to share their ideas and solutions to the emerging challenges of the 21st century.
More than 85 research papers were presented at the 3rd SIRC by scholars from all over the country and abroad on the thematic issues. SZABIST published the abstracts of the research papers to be presented in the conference in a booklet, which was distributed among the participants during the inaugural session.
Approximately 25% papers presented in the conference will be published in the SZABIST's Journal of Independent Studies Research (JISR), (MSSE and Computing). The remaining papers will be published in other HEC recognized national and international research journals.

He further stated the difference between the solid scholarly research and the research done to attain degrees, and advised the young scholars/researchers that they must always focus on the research question and avoid falling into the traps developed by the previous generations by projecting highest ethical standards.
